Products & Condition

Are your watches authentic?

DialArchives reviews items before listing and aims to present them clearly and honestly using the information available at the time of listing, supported by photos, videos, condition notes, and product descriptions.

DialArchives visual review is not an official manufacturer authentication, certificate of authenticity, timing report, pressure test, or service report unless explicitly stated in the product listing.

Are your watches new or pre-owned?

DialArchives may offer brand new, modern pre-owned, vintage, antique, project, parts, or collectible items. Each product listing will state the item condition as clearly as possible.

Do vintage watches keep perfect time?

Vintage and pre-owned watches may show variation in timekeeping, power reserve, accuracy, and operation. Long-term accuracy and future performance are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in the product listing.

Is water resistance guaranteed?

No. Water resistance is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated as tested. Any water resistance wording should be treated as a case, dial, or manufacturer specification marking only unless a current pressure test is specifically provided.

What do DialArchives condition ratings mean?

DialArchives condition ratings are internal visual assessment scores based on visible condition, presentation, and basic operation at the time of listing. They are provided as a guide only and are not an official manufacturer assessment, authentication certificate, timing report, pressure test, or service report.

Please review the photos, videos, product description, and condition notes carefully before purchase, as they form part of the item description.

Warranty

Do your watches come with warranty?

Warranty coverage depends on the specific item. Some items may include manufacturer warranty documents where clearly shown in the photos or stated in the listing. Some selected items may include a DialArchives seller warranty where explicitly stated.

Is manufacturer warranty included?

Manufacturer warranty is included only where the product listing clearly states this and the relevant warranty documentation is shown or supplied with the item. Manufacturer warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.

Are parts, repair, or project watches covered by warranty?

Items listed as parts, repair, project, not running, or as-is are sold with that condition clearly disclosed and generally do not include warranty unless explicitly stated.

Box, Papers & Accessories

Are box and papers included?

Box, papers, warranty cards, manuals, spare links, accessories, or service records are included only where clearly shown in the photos or stated in the product listing.
