Authenticity & Transparency

Reviewed Before Listing

Every item is reviewed before being presented on DialArchives, with attention to visible brand markings, condition, parts consistency, included accessories, and honest description.

Visually Reviewed
Condition Checked
Collector Focused
Clearly Described

At DialArchives, authenticity and transparency are central to how we present every watch, pocket watch, stopwatch, clock, writing instrument, and collectible item.

We aim to describe each item carefully and honestly, using the information available at the time of listing, supported by detailed photos and condition notes.

Our Review Process

Each item is visually reviewed before listing. This may include checking visible brand markings, dial details, case markings, movement information where accessible, included accessories, papers, box details, and overall condition.

What We Check

  • Visible brand markings, logos, dial text, and reference details
  • Case, crown, crystal, bracelet, strap, pushers, and visible components
  • Movement details where available and safely accessible
  • Serial numbers, caseback markings, papers, or warranty documents where supplied
  • Visible wear, patina, damage, replacement parts, or signs of previous servicing
  • Box, papers, accessories, or provenance where included and shown

Parts & Visual Consistency

For pre-owned and vintage items, visible parts are reviewed for consistency with the model, age, and presentation of the item. Where replacement, aftermarket, refinished, or uncertain parts are known or visible, we aim to disclose them in the listing.

DialArchives visual review is not an official manufacturer authentication, certificate of authenticity, pressure test, timing report, or independent service report unless explicitly stated in the product listing.

Box, Papers & Warranty Documents

Any box, papers, warranty cards, service records, manuals, accessories, or provenance are included only where clearly shown in the photos or stated in the listing.

Manufacturer warranty documents are described only where supplied with the item. Warranty coverage remains subject to the relevant manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Vintage & Pre-Owned Items

Many DialArchives items are pre-owned or vintage. They may show age-related wear, patina, previous polishing, service history gaps, replacement parts, or signs of use. These details are described or shown where visible.

Timekeeping accuracy, water resistance, service history, and future performance are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in the product listing.

Independent Seller Notice

DialArchives is an independent seller of pre-owned, vintage, and collectible items. DialArchives is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by the watch brands listed unless explicitly stated.

Brand names, model names, reference numbers, serial numbers, movement details, and technical specifications are used only to identify the products.

Honest Descriptions

We prioritise clear photography, detailed descriptions, condition ratings, and transparent notes so customers can make informed decisions before purchase.

Product photos, videos, condition ratings, and written descriptions form part of the item description. Please review them carefully before placing an order.
